Health center week noted

The network's mission has remained the same throughout the years: To provide the best health care, and access to that care, for everyone in its communities.

The community health center program was founded more than 40 years ago to make sure that everyone in the United States would have a health care home, a place where they know their primary care provider and their provider knows them, said Elizabeth Swain, executive director of the Community Health Care Association of New York State. Community Health Center Week is a time to recognize and celebrate the people who work tirelessly to keep their communities healthy. Hudson Headwaters Health Network is an excellent example of a community health center that has become woven into the fabric of the communities it serves.
