Bike rally set for Sunday

SARANAC LAKE Pipes will pop and echo near the Saranac River for the 12th Annual Tri-Lakes Motorcycle Rally on Sunday, Aug. 5.

What could be better during the dog days of summer than a gathering with bikes, barbecue and a band? Engines will rev for departure from the Saranac Lake Fish & Game Club promptly at 11 a.m. for a spectacular ride looping through the Adirondacks. All bikes and all riders are welcome as well as all non-riders and their families. There will be a 50/50 Raffle, door prizes, t-shirts and more. There will be some great live musicclassic rock & roll, from Recently Escaped formerly Jam Theory 4 , a pig roast and lots of fun following the ride!

The rally helps raise money for hospice and works to get the word out about its services. The rally brings together a diverse group of motorcycle enthusiasts and residents from across the North Country for a day of riding and friendship, all in support of High Peaks Hospice.

Attendance has grown each year for this popular event, attracting riders from across northern New York and Vermont. Join this years rally and support High Peaks Hospice, while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow cycle enthusiasts.

The group will depart from the Fish and Game Club and loop around Lake Placid, Tupper Lake and back through Saranac Lake. Hospice is encouraging everyone to rally and wave on the riders as they pass through the three towns as they are riding in honor of future patients and in memory of those we have served.

Riders will be passing through the village of Lake Placid around 11:20 a.m., back through to Saranac Lake (Route 3 West) on their way to Tupper Lake around 11:45 a.m., Park Street Tupper Lake around 12:15 p.m. They will stop for a break in Tupper Lake and then pass through Saranac Lake via upper Broadway to The Fish and Game Club near 1:15 p.m.
