TICONDEROGA The Ticonderoga Community Program Series will continue on Wednesday, April 11, with a presentation by William G. Dolback titled Historic Ticonderoga in Pictures. The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Ticonderoga Community Building. Dolbacks presentation consists of a slide show, old photographs and artifacts of Ticonderoga. It will focus on the people, places and things in Ticonderoga during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born and raised in Ticonderoga, Dolback is the town of Ticonderoga historian and the president of the Ticonderoga Historical Society. A Vietnam-era veteran of the U.S. Navy, Dolback has been involved in a number of voluntary Adirondack-area organizations. Retired from government service, Dolback is currently a realtor with Real Estate Innovations. This program is free and open to the public, thanks in part to a grant from the South Lake Champlain Trust. In the event of inclement weather, call 585-2821 for the status of the program.
