Sex offender registry has pros and cons

I dont know about you, but when I have looked at people in the sex offender registry I have done so with disdain. And I'll admit that it is prejudiced behavior on my part, because I have automatically labeled them as bad eggs, perverts and worse.

So what I am trying to say is that it is important that we consider the circumstances and read the information on these people before casting them away from our society.

Repeat offenders and those that commit sodomy, or have had deviant sexual contact with or forcibly raped their victims should not be allowed to walk freely among us. Period.

Whats worse for the life of me I cannot comprehend what drives someone to sexually abuse an infant, toddler, or young child! And this has and does happen!

In those cases I sometimes wish we could revert back to medieval times and - to put it mildly - have the offender spayed or neutered!
