BURLINGTON How do you find women around the country who have a story to tell about less than successful relationships? As Wendy Floyd, co-author of When did you know...he was not the one? will tell you: it's simple. Just tap into the network of women's groups who have established online communities. With a Google search, Wendy identified a number of women's' organizations and sent a short email asking if anyone might be interested in being interviewed for her book. Robin Gronlund, executive director of the Vermont-based Women Business Owners Network, received the email and included Wendy's contact information in the organizations monthly email newsletter to over 1,000 women across Vermont, New York and New Hampshire. Within days of the request, Wendy had women contacting her willing to tell their personal stories. "Wendy and Judy's use of networking to make their business idea a reality is an inspiration for entrepreneurial women every where. I invited them to share their story and both are coming from Long Island to speak at WBON's April conference," said Robin Gronlund of WBON.
