Clay Classes for Kids at NCCA for ages 10-14

The North Country Cultural Center for the Arts will host clay classes for youth in the areas of hand building and wheel work. Students will not only learn basic clay techniques.
Kim Mazur will instruct the Kids’ Wheel class, for kids ages 10 to 14. Participants learn how to throw on a potter’s wheel and create their own mugs, bowls, plates and shallow dishes.
Classes are from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturdays, from April 13 through May 4, and costs $120 or $115 for Arts Center members, plus a $25 materials fee.
