Adirondack Berry Picker Basket with Beverly Cornelius. #525-1004.

This basket is a variation of an Adirondack Pack Basket, one of the oldest surviving traditions inside the Adirondack Park. Students will use a continuous weave technique and hand shaping to make this wonderfully useful basket. A Shaker technique is used to create a solid bottom basket. Shaker tape is used to make strapping that mimics pack basket straps that will leave your hands free for blueberry picking or any other type of gathering. Approximate size: 10-12" tall (width may vary).

Tuition $95. Member Tuition $85. Materials Fee $40.
