Interested in learning more about weaving structures? Want to create your own library of ideas to work from? Then this class is for you! Work round-robin with other students to try out many different types of weave structures to gain a firm understanding of the versatile world of twill weaves. At the end of the class you will walk away with your own sample library of twill designs that you can then use to help create your own work. On the first day we will talk about how twills work and how they can be manipulated. The looms will be pre-dressed so all you have to do is sit, weave, and explore. The second day, you will finish your sample libraries and we will talk about how you can use the information you learned at the looms to design your own patterns. Beginner to advanced weavers, ages 15 years and older.
Tuition $190. Member Tuition $170. Materials Fee $36.
