Bow drill fire making is an ancient way to start fire. Due to its primitive nature, you will quickly develop an intimate understanding of the principles of fire making. We will discuss wood types and the trees they come from to the structure of your fire itself. Your relationship to fire made through primitive techniques is rewarding beyond description! You will take home a complete bow drill set, bundle of tinder, and hopefully a story about making fire the "old way". This class is open to ages 10 years and older; children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tuition $95. Member Tuition $85. Materials Fee $5.
