LAKE GEORGE — One of the premier events to celebrate the Bicentennial of Warren County during 2013 is set for next weekend.
The official Warren County Bicentennial Banquet is to be held Saturday Oct. 26 in Fort William Henry’s Towers Hall, and all are invited to attend.
The event, sponsored by the county Bicentennial Citizens Advisory Committee, is to feature music as well as mingling with actors portraying citizens important in the county’s history, as well as historical displays.
The event starts at 6 p.m. with cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres. Dinner begins at 7 p.m., followed by presentations by historical characters at 8 p.m.
