The hearth was central to homes in the Adirondacks - and still is for many of us! In this class you will make your own hearth tools including a poker, shovel, and small rake. Learn essential blacksmithing skills: drawing out, bending, collar welding, and riveting. Construction details will vary depending on the skill level of the student. Beginner through intermediate blacksmiths are encouraged to attend.

Fee = $170 + materials ($25 – Est.).

NOTE: Hard shoes and long pants are required for student safety.
