Take a little time from your busy life to learn the basics of chair seating on a handcrafted rustic footstool made in the backwoods of New Hampshire. These are truly one-of-a-kind pieces that will add warmth and character to any home. You will have a choice of weaving a herringbone pattern with either reed or hickory bark. Learn the characteristic of these products, such as how they are harvested and how to protect them once the project is completed. Students should bring an apron, hand towel, heavy-duty scissors, and a weave rite tool or awl.
Fee = $45 + Materials. ($65 for footstool; $20 for reed or $75 for hickory bark).
