Wood Oven Bread for Beginners with Dick Bessey. #379-0510. 1+½ Days.

In this class students with little or no bread-making experience will learn to make sourdough bread in a wood-burning brick oven. Starting with feeding a sourdough starter and ending with easy-to-handle dough, you will take home a few loaves of delicious breads. The class will cover oven firing, baking techniques for wood-burning ovens, mixing, fermenting, shaping, and baking hearth breads. We will also discuss methods and equipment to make baking at home easier.

Fee = $130 + $15 for materials.
