Have fun building a lasting child’s toy - a classic rocking horse. This class will lead you through layout techniques for the best use of wood for strength and beauty. You will use a variety of woodworking equipment and tools to cut your pieces, hold the parts in proper orientation for drilling and assembly, and to edge shape the parts. Bring a sharp #2 pencil, red pencil, and a dust mask. You may choose to bring any personal hand tools of choice: coping saw, block plane, spoke shave, jigsaw, random orbit sanders, measuring and marking tools, or small edge router and radius bits. Create a toy for your kids or grand-kids that can be handed down through the generations!
Fee = $215 + $80 for materials.
