The young artist can squeeze, roll, coil, or drape. No we’re not talking about a new dance, but rather some of the ways you can add your own creativity when you learn to work with clay in this half-day class. This is a wonderful class for those who have never made things with clay, as well as those with some experience. Learn how to form just about anything you can think of, from animals to spoon rests, and pencil holders to bowls! Come and explore what can be made with clay. After class, the clay pieces will be fired in a kiln and then can be picked up at the school a week later so they can be finished at home (painted, stained, etc.). Prepare to get dirty playing in the clay. Bring an old shirt or smock to wear. No experience is necessary. Great for young artists ages 8-18.
Fee = $45 + $15 for materials.
