Knife making uses both the art and skill of the blacksmith in creating the most important item an outdoorsman should have with him. In this class you will learn how to hand forge a knife blade, including the finer skills required to shape the blade and heat treating the blade to hold a keen and durable edge. This class is intended for students with prior experience in blacksmithing who are familiar with fire control and hammering techniques, and who have taken a previous blacksmithing class. This is a great class that will allow you to learn new skills and create a tool of which you will be proud.

Fee = $170 + materials (est. $20).

Note: Hard shoes and long pants are required for student safety.
