SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Saratoga & North Creek Railway will welcome aboard passengers for a colorful and festive journey through the Adirondacks to celebrate Gore Mountain Harvest Fest and the North Creek Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 6 and Sunday, Oct. 7.
The harvest-themed scenic train ride will feature a number of fall favorites for passengers to enjoy throughout the trip, including hard cider, cider donuts and apple pie. Additionally, one passenger aboard the train on either October 6 or 7 will win an Apple iPod.
Upon arrival in North Creek, passengers will be invited to stroll along Main Street for the North Creek Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event will include live music, Oktoberfest-themed food and beverage, sidewalk sales and family-friendly activities.
Riders will also be welcomed to attend the Gore Mountain Harvest Fest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event will feature local artisans, live music, gondola and helicopter rides, guided hiking excursions, family-friendly activities and hearty fall food and drink.
