Emily Latour, retired Art Teacher, will be presenting a workshop on coiled yarn baskets on Saturday, December 1st from 10 AM - Noon at Plattsburgh Yarn & Gifts in Downtown Plattsburgh. It is a simple technique which allows you to create all kinds of vessels and decorative items. The wrapping and building technique produces a very strong object that can be developed into a variety of shapes using clothesline and yarn. The cost of the workshop is $30 plus $2.40 sales tax.
