The historic hamlet of Essex, N. Y., on the shore of Lake Champlain, plans to host its 33rd Downtown Essex Day on Sat., Aug. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Antiques, collectibles, artwork, crafts, and food will be on sale at shops and booths throughout the hamlet.
